Supporting the local community has always been at the heart of Cygnet Law’s work, and this year that commitment has been recognised. The firm has been named a finalist in the Corporate Charity Partnership category at the North East Charity Awards.
The nomination comes from The Junction Foundation and celebrates the ongoing partnership with the organisation, supporting children, young people, and families across the region. The firm’s contributions have included:
- Visiting young carers’ groups to offer guidance and engagement
- Providing work experience opportunities for local young people
- Volunteering at The Junction Multibank during the annual Christmas campaign
- Co-delivering the first Sip, Support & Empower event for International Women’s Day, with plans already underway to collaborate again in 2026
Stacey Phoenix, Director at Cygnet Law, said:
“It’s such an honour to be recognised by The Junction and the North East Charity Awards. Supporting young people and families in our community is incredibly important to us, and this nomination reflects the passion and dedication of our team. We’re proud to work alongside organisations like The Junction to make a difference, and we will continue to do so in the years ahead.”
Cygnet Law has also committed to supporting other local organisations, demonstrating their broader dedication to improving the lives of children, young people, and families across the North East.
The North East Charity Awards celebrate excellence in charitable work across the region, shining a spotlight on organisations, individuals, and corporate partners who make a real impact. Cygnet Law will attend the awards night in September, where the winners in each category will be announced.
