Eleanor qualified as a solicitor in 2016 and was appointed as a Director of Cygnet Law in December 2022. She is a member of the Children panel and is a highly experienced advocate, dealing with complex Local Authority matters. Eleanor possesses extensive trial experience and obtained her Higher Courts (civil advocacy) Qualification in 2023.
Eleanor frequently represents professionals, children, parents and grandparents in wide-ranging proceedings, and is known for her kind and mindful approach with her clients to sensitive issues.
Eleanor regularly deals with a range of expert applications and witnesses, and has conduct of complex public law proceedings including those involving allegations of harm and abuse, adoption applications, secure accommodation order applications and applications invoking the inherent jurisdiction of the Court, including deprivation of liberty.
