Job Role at Cygnet Law

Jessica King officially joined the Cygnet Law team in March 2020. Jessica began her Training Contract six months later in September 2020. Jessica qualified as a solicitor two years after she first started at the firm in March 2022.

As part of the Public Law department, Jessica has proven to be a valuable asset to the team. She has a wealth of experience representing parents, grandparents, and Local Authorities in ongoing care proceedings. She regularly receives positive feedback from her clients. Jessica prides herself on maintaining a high standard of client care.

Awards & Qualifications

Following her previous education and work experience, Jessica pursued her Bachelor of Law degree. Shortly after graduating, Jessica began studying for her Legal Practice Course with an Integrated Masters degree at Sunderland University.

In June 2022, she was awarded the Trainee of the Year accolade at the Northern Law Awards. This title is recognised regionally as a demonstration that Jessica has, and continues to, prove her commitment and dedication to her clients and profession.

Jessica's Interests

When she isn't working hard in the office, Jessica tries to spend as much quality time with her friends and family as possible. In her spare time, Jessica loves to exercise and regularly goes to CrossFit. She also loves to cook and is always eager to try new and exciting recipes.
