Job Role at Cygnet Law

Joanne McKay has been a part of the Cygnet Law team, on and off, for six years. Following a one-year gap, Joanne re-joined the team in September 2022. Currently a Trainee Legal Executive, Joanne has over 20 years of experience in her chosen field.

Joanne's primary focus is Family Law, of which deals with divorce, finances, domestic abuse, and children's act proceedings. Additionally, she also represents parents and grandparents in public law proceedings.

Awards & Qualifications

Throughout her extensive career, Joanne has had several jobs that have helped her significantly in her role as a trainee legal executive. Previously, Joanne worked as a Nanny within the London area and is a trained Montessori teacher.

Joanne is currently pursuing graduate status to become a licensed Chartered Legal Executive. With just one exam left to pass, Joanne is on the path towards being fully qualified by the end of 2023 or early 2024 at the latest.

When Joanne isn't working hard in the office on a new case or studying for any upcoming exams, we have no doubt that you'll find her off doing one of her many hobbies. From reading and walking to going to the cinema and eating out at new and exciting restaurants, Joanne is always out and about doing something fun.
