Start NowMelanie officially joined the Cygnet Law team in October 2022. As a Chartered Legal Executive, Melanie is integral to our Private Family Law team.
Melanie has a wealth of knowledge and experience in family matters and cases involving divorce, financial issues, child arrangements and domestic abuse.
She offers advice and guidance to all those who are going through a difficult time in their lives. Due to her hard work, compassion and determination, Melanie has since been promoted to Head of the Private Family department.
Following her previous years' education and work experience, Melanie decided that she wished to pursue further qualifications. Melanie is currently a Fellowship Grade Chartered Legal Executive. Additionally, Melanie attended the Northern Law Awards this year, where she won the well-deserved 'Family Law Team Northern Law Award 2023'.
When Melanie isn't working hard in the office or advising her many clients, she is pursuing her decorating hobby. Melanie also has a love for interior design and is always the first one to volunteer if a lick of paint is ever needed.
