Job Role at Cygnet Law

Stacey Turnbull has been one of our longest-standing team members since she began her career with Cygnet Law in April 2014.

Initially beginning her career as a Legal Secretary in the Public Law department, she has continued progressing throughout her tenure since being promoted to Clerk and is now a qualified Chartered Legal Executive.

Stacey works within the Pre-Proceedings department within our Public Law team. Her responsibilities include children's matters, offering advice and assistance concerning child protection issues, letters before proceedings, and initiating care proceedings.

Stacey's responsibilities also include matters concerning Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND), where she acts on behalf of the local authorities regarding appeals.

Awards & Qualifications

Following her previous education, Stacey pursued her Bachelor of Law degree at Teesside University. She later graduated with an Upper Second Class degree in 2006.

Years later, Stacey received her Cilex Law School Level 6 Diploma in Law and subsequently became a Chartered Legal Executive on the 15th of March, 2023.

Stacey's Interests

When Stacey isn't working hard in the office, she is spending time with her family. As a family-orientated person, Stacey enjoys spending time with her young son. She can often be found on the football pitch attending her son's matches for the Marske United Juniors.
