Stuart qualified in 1997 and is a family law specialist, joining us in January 2020 as a senior solicitor specialising in divorce financial provision. He is a former member of the Law Society, Family Law and Children Panels and has been head of family law departments in practices in South Tyneside and Hartlepool. Stuart is committed to following a code of practice as he’s a Resolution Member, who strives to deal with family issues in a constructive way. He’s non- confrontational and cost effective in manner, which makes lengthy and stressful legal proceedings less likely. In every case where court proceedings are necessary, Stuart fights for his clients to achieve the best possible outcomes. He’s a down to earth member of the Cygnet team, possessing considerable experience in dealing with business assets and divorce proceedings.
