Job Role at Cygnet Law

Jessica Wright officially joined the team in November 2021 as a Paralegal in the Public Law department. She is a valued member of the team here at Cygnet Law, and her infectious personality lights up the office.

Jessica has worked within public law since 2019 and officially commenced a training contract with our firm in September 2022.

Throughout her time here at Cygnet Law, Jessica has gained a wealth of experience advising parents, local authorities, and children's guardians. Jessica has also advised in some complex cases, including issues surrounding fabricated or induced illness, as well as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).

Awards & Qualifications

Jessica graduated from the Royal Holloway University in London in 2018 with a BSc in Psychology. She then completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice (LLM) at Northumbria University. Jessica did all of this part-time, dividing her time between studying and working.

For her hard work and determination, Jessica was awarded the Ward Hadaway Prize for Achievement in 2019 and later graduated with a first-class master's degree in November 2022. She is due to qualify as a Solicitor in July 2024.

Jessica's Interests

When Jessica isn't studying or working, she's either reading, writing, or baking - we're sure she'd do all three simultaneously if it was possible. She's a woman of many talents! It is an excellent day for the office when Jessica bakes because the whole team gets to try her tasty baked sweets.
