Job Role at Cygnet Law

Robyn Barnett began working at Cygnet Law in early 2021 as a Secretary in the Private Family Law department. She has since, through hard work and determination, progressed to the role of Legal Clerk, where she specialises in Domestic Violence cases.

Robyn has a strong relationship with and works closely alongside the local domestic abuse charity EVA Women's Aid. She regularly attends events and training courses with Women's Aid charities across the North East.

Robyn often works with victims of domestic violence and assists them in obtaining Non-Molestation Orders. Robyn also assists with matters before the courts regarding children.

Awards & Qualifications

Throughout the years, Robyn has worked vigorously to progress her career to new heights. This includes obtaining several qualifications and undergoing training courses regarding domestic violence and abuse. Similarly, she has also received her Certificate in Higher Education in Health and Social Care.

Robyn's Interests

When she isn't working hard on her caseload in the office, Robyn enjoys spending some much-needed quality time with her two young children. She also loves to go out and socialise with all of her friends and family.

Whenever she can, Robyn also enjoys taking her Goldendoodle dog, Libra, out for an adventure or on a long, peaceful walk.
